How does the brake caliper work?

In the automobile braking system, the disc brake uses hydraulic pressure as the power source, and the oil cylinder is fixed on the brake bracket. When the driver steps on the brake pedal, the braking force will be transferred from the brake pedal and brake.  The master cylinder is delivered to the brake calipers of each wheel through the oil pipe. At this time, the piston in the oil cylinder is forced by the hydraulic pressure to push the friction plate against the brake disc, forcing it to stop immediately.
